(Students enroll in the full program gain access to a 5th Q+A Session with Daniel) Join meditation expert and teacher Daniel Domoleczny on a 4-week journey towards meditation mastery! You might have found yourself wondering: What is meditation and why do we do it? What are the actual benefits we can receive from this practice? There are so many methods out there, which one is right for me? How can I enhance my practice to get more and go deeper? Week by week, Daniel will build foundational knowledge around what the core necessities are for a strengthening meditation practice and will help students find ways to access the foundations that will be most beneficial to them. If you find yourself struggling to hold concentration, drifting off from paying attention, or feeling distracted and scattered throughout your daily activities, this class if for YOU! Through a series of 4 classes, Daniel will teach you how to: Build your focus and attention through powerful awareness Reclaim your own power by cultivating relationship to self through meditation Improve your concentration through the awareness of yourself and your thoughts Harness your natural faculties to un-layer your potential for productivity and creativity Course Syllabus: Week 1 – What is Meditation? A discussion on what meditation is taught from the Buddhist tradition and what are some do’s and don’ts regarding practice. We will go over many of the various practices that are out there are and how to find which one best suits you NOW. Additionally, how to build your meditation from the ground up, and how you can create a ceremonial space to aid in your journey. Week 2 - The Nuts and Bolts of Meditation Formal instruction on Concentration: We will go over the various ways in which we can build and maintain concentration and why this is essential for any practice. You will learn to observe and interact with yourself with compassion and patience. Week 3 – Blocks + Solutions Learn to work wthe most common obstacles that students may face in their practice and how to overcome them. Week 4: Living with a Practice We will go over how we can use our practice to positively influence our minds, bodies and, more importantly, our environment. We will conclude with a guided meditation to seal in the entirety of the experience.
